So, what are Restorative Practices (RP)? RP is an indigenous practice based on the principles of positive relationships as central to building community. RP emphasizes on building and strengthening relationships in all social connections in communities. Many practices fall within the realm of RP, such as; Restorative Justice, Restorative Dialogue, Restorative Circles, Restorative Conference, and many more.

Restorative Justice is a system of responding to harm that prioritizes repair, positive relationships, and connections. 

Circles are a practice within Restorative Practices that can be used proactively to form meaningful connections in communities or in response to harm committed.
